Update on GWCC’s Sonography Program

I spoke with Lucy Granillo at GWCC this afternoon and learned that there are currently 460 students on the wait list for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. They accept an average of 25 students per year each fall. In May of 2018 they moved from a point system to a first-come, first-served, application process. They also have a new Math requirement that includes a minimum of College Algebra, so please keep that in mind when advising students who may wish to apply for this program.
